From 12 May 2008 Mercator Press Sales NV holds the FSC® certificate (FSC® Logo License number FSC-C129563).

This means that we contribute to the responsible management of the forests from which the wood for production of FSC® paper is cut - the FSC® label is certainly the mark of responsible forestry.

To be eligible for FSC® certification, we have established procedures clearly explaining the demands, which all departments in our company have to follow, when printing on FSC® paper.

CO2 emissions which are released in the production of printed matter, play an important part in the climate issue. Royal Printing Em. de Jong has an active policy now and in the future to minimize the CO2 footprint of its operations where possible and compensate for the remainder. In the production of printed matter CO2 emissions occur because of the consumption of electricity, gas and transport. In order to achieve a CO2 policy three essential steps are necessary, namely measuring, reducing and compensating.
